Change your password or account details

Update your account info and sign-in methods.

What you'll do

Change your password, name, time zone, or theme preference.

Where to look

Go to My profile from the account menu in the bottom-left of the sidebar. Everything personal lives there.

Change your name

Update First name and Last name under My profile. Your team sees the new name on Touchpoints you've sent. Your anonymous answers don't change.

Change your password

Click Change password. Enter your current password, then the new one twice. Save.

If you forgot your password, go to /login and click Forgot password. We'll email a reset link.

Sign in with Google or Microsoft

If your organization uses SSO, you can link Google or Microsoft to your account from My profile → Sign-in methods. Once linked, you can sign in with one click instead of typing a password.

You can have a password and SSO at the same time. Either works.

Time zone

Set your time zone under My profile → Preferences. Daily questions arrive at 9am in your local zone after this is set.

If you travel, you can update it any time. The next send respects the new zone.

Theme

Switch between Light and Dark mode under My profile → Preferences. The change is per-user; it doesn't affect the rest of your team.

Common questions

  • Can I change my email address? Not at the moment. If you need to switch the email on your account, contact us through the help center and we'll work it out.
  • Can I delete my profile photo? There's no profile photo. The avatar in the app is the first letter of your name.
  • Why can't I change my role? Roles are managed by Admins. Ask an Admin to change yours. See Change someone's role.
