Stop or restart your team's emails

For team members. Use the Unsubscribe link in any email, or turn it back on from your profile.

What you'll do

Stop getting daily questions from one of your teams, or turn the emails back on. You're in control. Your team's admin can see that you stopped, but only you can restart.

Stop emails (one click)

Every daily question email has a small Unsubscribe link in the footer.

  1. Open a recent email.
  2. Scroll to the footer.
  3. Click Unsubscribe.
  4. Confirm on the page that opens.

That's it. You won't get daily questions or other team emails from this group again until you turn it back on.

The page asks you to confirm because some inboxes preview links automatically. We don't want a stray preview to silently unsubscribe you.

Per-team, not all of Daily Question

If you're in more than one Daily Question team, the Unsubscribe link only stops emails from the team that sent that specific message. Other teams keep sending as normal.

Turn emails back on

You can resume anytime, but you'll need to sign in to do it.

  1. Sign in at /login. If you've never set up an account, click Create account with the email your team uses.
  2. Open Profile from the top-right menu.
  3. Find the Email subscription card. It only appears when you're currently unsubscribed.
  4. Click Turn emails back on.

Daily questions resume at the next normal send time for your team.

What your admin sees

Your admin sees an Unsubscribed badge next to your name in their Members list. They can see the status, but they can't reverse it. Only you can.

What you'll still get

Even after you unsubscribe, you'll still get the small handful of account emails that aren't part of the daily question stream. Things like password resets, email-confirmation links, and important billing notices if you're the admin.

Common questions

  • Will my old answers be deleted? No. Unsubscribing stops new questions; it doesn't touch what's already in your team's results.
  • Can I unsubscribe from just one campaign? No, it's per-team. If you want to stay in some campaigns and not others, ask your manager to remove you from the ones you don't want.
  • The Unsubscribe link doesn't work. The link expires after thirty days. Open a more recent email and try again. If it still fails, write to support.
