What you'll do
Send us a short email so we can confirm you're a qualified nonprofit and set you up with free access to Daily Question. There's no application form. We read every email and reply personally, usually within a few business days.
Who qualifies
- US-based 501(c)(3) public charities and private foundations.
- Equivalent recognized nonprofit status in other countries (e.g. Canadian registered charity, UK CIO/CIC, Australian DGR).
- Public and private K-12 schools, school districts, and non-profit education organizations.
We'll consider sponsorships, peer-support groups, and similar mission-driven organizations on a case-by-case basis. If you're not sure whether you qualify, send the email anyway and we'll figure it out together.
What to send
Email support@freedailyquestion.com with the subject "Nonprofit program" and include:
- Your organization's legal name and EIN (or country-equivalent registration number).
- A copy or a public link to your IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter (or country-equivalent recognition).
- A short paragraph describing your team and how you'd use Daily Question. Two or three sentences is plenty.
- Your name, role, and a contact email.
What happens after you email
We'll usually reply within two or three business days. If we have follow-up questions, we'll ask. Once we approve your application, we set up your organization on the appropriate plan with billing turned off. You'll see a normal-looking account in the app, with no charges and no billing portal unless you choose to upgrade.
If your team grows past what the program supports, we'll reach out and talk about a paid plan that keeps you running. We don't want anyone to lose the rhythm because they outgrew us.
What we don't do
- We don't share your email, EIN, or any of your application details with anyone outside our team.
- We don't auto-approve applications. A real person reviews every one.
- We don't charge a setup fee, processing fee, or any kind of fee. The program is free.
