What you'll do
Get a daily question by email and answer it in one click. No login required, no app to install.
When the email arrives
You'll get one short email each weekday from Daily Question. The subject line is the question. The body has buttons for each answer choice.
If your team's send time is 9am local, the email lands at 9am wherever you are. If you haven't set your time zone, you may get it at a different time. Set your time zone the next time you sign in to fix that.
Answering
Tap or click the button that matches your answer. That's it. Your response is recorded.
You don't need to log in. You don't have to type anything (unless the question asks for an open-ended answer, which is rare).
You'll see a thank-you screen after you answer. The screen tells you your answer was saved and reminds you that it's anonymous to your team.
If you change your mind
Today's question is open until midnight in your time zone. If you click again with a different answer, the new answer replaces the old one.
After midnight, the question closes and your answer is locked in.
If you miss a day
Nothing happens. You can skip days. Skipping doesn't penalize you, doesn't affect your team's score in a bad way, and isn't visible to anyone.
If you're on vacation, just leave the emails. Pick up when you're back.
On your phone
The email is built to work on phones. The buttons are big enough for a thumb. No login. No app store. No friction.
Common questions
- Can I stop getting these emails? Yes. Every email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. One click, one confirmation, and you're done. See Stop or restart your team's emails.
- Where do I see my history? Your answers aren't tied to your account, so there's no personal history to view.
